GETTING THE SHOT.

You Are Here Aerial Images started in 2005 as a light aircraft pilot capturing images of the landscapes below.  One hand strapped around a trusty Canon Rebel hanging out the window and the other on the flight controls was the way to get the shot back then.  The colours, contours, shadows and patterns of our vibrant planet and how we live on it inspired a unique  perspective.  The rolls of 35mm Kodachrome developed into 4K video and 20MP photos.  The traditional way of getting aerial shots from conventional aircraft and helicopters has been overtaken by UAVs and RPASs.  Drones.  These are exciting times.  They need to be captured in high definition!
